In my work I try to research within converging points and adaptability to the process and results of converging. Converging, as the act of two forces, two plans, two persons having the tendency to meet in a point or line of points. As these two will meet we’ll also be pulled to understand and even sometimes re-experience their trip in order to understand the road, the circumstances that made possible the fact and act of convergence.

What was the starting point that defined the root, the necessity to move? What decision or idea brought us to the point to move into a certain and defined direction? What set of thoughts, feelings, longing or fears passed through our minds during the trip? Was it a straight road, a curved road, a trip through the wilderness or was it dull and heavy? Where there difficulties in finding your way? Did you already know where you were going? Did you even noticed yourself moving or did it all come to you? Did you manage to see in the distance the imminent arrival point or was it a sudden discovery? Could you recognize the point of convergence or did it happen by coincidence? You have come know to the point of convergence.

The point of convergence is always a clashing moment. As the clash occurs and develops pieces are torn apart, some pieces to break into smaller pieces, some to unite with other fragments of floating debris and some will be pushed and thrown away from the point of the impact. No matter and nobody will anymore be the same. A new idea, a new moment, a new person within a new space will be created. How do we feel about this? Are we still under the impression of the clash or can we immediately feel the difference, the new condition? Can you react? The way we react carries along the feelings we’ve left with after the clash so, no matter how much we try to pretend keeping it cool, no matter how subtle and introvert you may be, we will all be left with the taste of ‘how does it feel to feel what you feel’.

The clashing moment has taken place and we’ve left with our feelings and emotions. And now? How do you proceed while digesting all that you have experienced? Do you feel richer or poorer after the clash? Is it manageable the weight of wisdom or has it instead become a burden? Will you carry it along with you for the rest of your life or will you just abandon it right there? Do you still have strength to go on or have you already exhausted all your power?

The moment of convergence and adaptability against all odds to such a point that not only you do manage to cope with it but you also feel that you have to pretend the lack of emotions: ‘Whichever the outcome, I’ll just keep on doing my best.’
